Differences of 3 types of LED strip PCB

Do you know the differences of Die-cut board PCB, High-temperature board PCB, and Electroplated board PCB?





When testing with a 400-degree high-temperature soldering iron:

Die-cut board PCB(type 1): Not heat-resistant. The pads melt easily, and the circuit board is also easily damaged by the heat.

High-temperature board PCB（type 2): Its advantage is better heat resistance compared to Die-cut boards. If the soldering time is brief, the pads and circuit board remain largely unaffected by the high temperature.

Electroplated board PCB( type 3): Offers the best quality and highest heat resistance. Regardless of the soldering duration, the pads and circuit board remain unaffected.

It can be seen that the appearance of the LED strip is the same, but the quality of the PCB differ greatly. If the application is in the project, our factory usually recommends Electroplated board PCB to customers.
