Common code( General code) VS Matched code( Paired code)
An article to explain the meaning and difference of common code& matched code of RF 433Mhz technology.
In the market, LED controllers usually use IR/RF/WiFi/Bluetooth/ DMX512/DALI/Zigbee and etc.
RF 433Mhz is widely used in LED remote controller product.
433Mhz is one kind of frequency of RF. It is widely used in various industry. It means it is easy to have signal interface. And that is why we design matched code for our RF LED controllers.
What is the difference of common code& matched code?
Common code( Also called general code or universal code). It means any remote(sender) can control any controller( receiver).
Matched codez( Also called paired code). It means the remote can only work with its paired/matched controller. In that way, it will be no signal interface.
Factory setting is common code but users can switch into matched code by touching some functional button.
